EZSample - high quality parallel sound sampler for all Amigas

The EZSample is an all-new high-quality compact parallel port sampler for all Amigas. It has been designed round a high speed double buffering continuous convertion analogue-to digital (A-D) chip which continuously samples at 100,000 samples/second. This means that the actual sample rate used to capture is dependant only on the ability of the Amiga to handle the data generated and the functionallity of the digitiser software used. The EZSample is compatible with virtually all popular parallel port digitising software, including that built in to Scala MM300 & 400 presentation software, Octamed, Audiomaster etc.

The EZSample also takes a novel approach to adjusting input sensitivity adjustment. Most other samplers use a resistive attenuator to reduce the maximum level of the incoming signal level to the maximum input acceptable to the sampler. However this approach significantly increases the noise of the digitised signal. The EZSample however adjusts the range over which the A-D converter works to match the incoming signal - resulting in a audibly superior quality of digitised signal. Setting the level is also easy using the built-in peak digitised signal LED incorporated into the EZsample.

Finally the unit has the same external profile as a regular parallel port plug so does not physically inhibit use of the A1200's serial plug or audio phono sockets. It will easily attach to even the recessed parallel port sockets on the back of some contemporary A1200 tower systems.
